Sustainability

     For this last project I have been thinking a lot about sustainability and product packaging.  For my project I want to use recycled paper for my packaging, as well as packaging that will be encouraged to be reused, like glass jars.

     7th Generation just came out with a laundry detergent bottle made out of paper, lined with a recyclable plastic bag.  The entire thing is recyclable (with a little effort). Some parts like the bag and cap may need to be brought to a grocery store to be recycled, but the paper body can be recycled at home.
     I think that sustainability is important to think about when designing a product.  I think that we should be aware about how the decisions that we make daily will effect the environment in the future.
